Ordering IDX for Your Rainmaker Website

What is IDX? Why do I need it? Why IDX Broker?

IDX stands for Internet Data Exchange and is how agents get MLS data to their site. IDX Broker is the service we use who acts as the middleman, or delivery system for the data from your MLS to your site. They integrate seamlessly into our sites while offering an almost limitless amount of features and customization options.

Steps on How to Order Your IDX

  1. Go to our developer partner link to waive the $99 setup fee: https://signup.idxbroker.com/d/MTJK2018

  2. Fill out the basic informaion it asks for and choose between their Lite and Platinum plans. We recommend their platinum so you have access to all available features and styling options. All of our demo sites are using the Platinum plan.

Company name: Should be your team name or DBA. If you don’t have one, just put Keller Williams Realty.
Address: Your Market Center address, the billing address will come in the next step. Don't put your home address!
Your Website URL: Should be the domain you entered as your primary on your homework form. This will be your domain name for your new website. Make sure you enter this correct and are sure, changes to this are subject to MLS approval again and additional fees.
Broker on Record: should be the name of the broker in your office or whoever signs MLS approval documents. Then enter the email address of the person in the Broker Email Address field.
Multiple Listing Service: Enter your MLS into this box. This is usually not your local REALTOR Board as many boards fall under one MLS. Some MLS have a “Data Management Fee” that varies in price. This is something that the MLS charges for using their data. It will show you under the IDX Broker price if there is a MLS fee.
Office/Team Add-ons: In most cases you’re going to want to choose the “No Add-on: Agent Account – Add $0/monthly” option. This can always be upgraded.

  3. Proceed to the next step and fill in your billing info.
  4. Read the info on the next page and wait for any emails from IDX Broker. Within a few days you should receive instructions and an MLS approval form to fill out.
